Rita de Cássia Couto received her LL.M in American Law from Boston College Law School, and her J.D. from Universidade Cândido Mendes in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Rita brings more than ten years of experience and practice in International Tax Law working for large corporations such as PricewaterhouseCoopers, Ernst & Young and KPMG, both in Brazil and in the United States.
Prior to joining the firm, Rita was part of the Global Mobility Services practice with KPMG’s Tax group. While there, she assisted corporate executives and high net worth individuals on international assignments with their domestic and international tax matters.
A native of Brazil, Rita is fluent in English, Portuguese, Spanish, and is currently studying French.
